Ryan and Christina met the summer before high school at a summer math camp called Summer Bridge to Algebra. In those two short weeks, they hit it off right away and became close friends. Actually best friends for two years! Then, during the summer before their Junior year, they realized they had romantic feelings for one another and decided to take the next step to dating one another. Ryan asked Christina to be his girlfriend 11 years ago. Since then, they have navigated the end of high school, college, the pandemic, working full time, living together with their two pets: Sylas (cat) and Bella (dog). They are truly best friends, which is soooo obvious while looking at these portraits. The precious giggles and joyous laughter….perfect recipe for happily ever after!

Ryan and Christina’s wedding day was so special! Gorgeous redwoods, an adorable couple, the sweetest wedding party, the perfect California summer weather. The Mountain Terrace is a beautiful venue! Double terrace decks looking over the lush lawn with towering redwoods, and fun fire pits, all made for the beautiful backdrop for Ryan & Christina’s special day, that had touches of lilac, sage green, and grey. This intimate wedding was filled with dancing, laughter, s’mores, lawn games, yummy food, and more dancing. I had the privilege of photographing Christina’s Brother and Sister in love’s wedding just last year. Having already met and adore this amazing family, it was so special seeing their family and friends again! The day was super fun for Mikayla and I just witnessing this joyous occasion.
