Beetle Rock | Sequoia National Park, California
Ben and Sarah’s wedding did not go at all as they planned. 2020 has made everyone’s life one interesting adventure, hasn’t it?! Well no pandemic is going to hold these two back! Wedding plan take #2 took place in Sequoia National Park elopement style at Beetle Rock, on a perfect summer day! On the week that was supposed to be their wedding week, Ben and Sarah flew their mamas out to hang out with them to distract them from missing their big wedding. Once both moms arrived to California, Ben and Sarah surprised them both by having them as their witnesses to their surprise Elopement in Sequoia National Park!! How sweet is that!?!
They chose Beetle Rock for their ceremony location. What beautiful views all round. After they were officially Husband and Wife, we took a short walk to the Giant Sequoias for portrait time!! All the other hikers that day enjoyed cheering on Ben and Sarah! Lots of congratulations to them. Don’t we all need happy stories right now!? So awesome how Ben and Sarah blessed strangers by their sweet union.
Sarah opted to go barefoot most of the time during her session. LOVED the nature feel of her jumpsuit and her willingness to hike up trails and huge rocks to get these fun epic portraits! While this wasn’t what they envisioned I am sooo glad they made this day their own. Ben brews his own beer, with even his own labels. The labels just happened to match the natural surrounding of the Sequoias perfectly. So fun to encorpate it into their day.
Ben and Sarah it was an honor to capture your special day! I pray that you two are always up for life’s future adventures!! <3
