Every birthday is special however there is something about turning 16!!! Today is my little girl’s birthday. This little one who made me a mama. Who looks like me so much, her nickname is Littles (little mama).  As a toddler,  she gave me a run for my money, for sure! I think I read Dobson’s The Strong Willed Child cover to cover twice and several section even more than that! lol I am so glad I did read it because so much of what Dobson’s said came true. 

Most would never believe me by observing her now.  But in the moment a strong willed child is extremely exhausting, however is soooo worth it! This strong willed darling has grown up to be of strong character, a loving spirit, a friend to the lonely, hard working, dedicated and determined young lady of God.  Sweet Mikayla, I am so very proud of the lady you are becoming. I love you much more than you know! It is a joy to be your mama.
