This maybe the first time I have blogged a wedding before blogging their engagement session! Oh but its for a great reason!!! Let me back up and explain.

These two love birds were happily dating knowing that they would some day get married. Then Joseph decided to join the Marines and while in Boot Camp they exchanged handwritten correspondence. During these sweet love letters, they both decided to move their someday plans to right now plans! Why wait when you have found the LOVE of your life?!

Haleigh planned their beautiful wedding in a mere few weeks. She did an outstanding job! Joseph wasn’t able to be physically present until one week before the wedding. But he was well informed thru their correspondence.  So with him off at training we did their engagement session just 4 days before their amazing wedding. And I am soooo glad we made time for an engagement session. I had a blast getting to know these two better and learning about their love story!

Their Wedding day was beautiful, surrounded about hilarious friends and family! There were also these adorable puppies at the ladies’ getting ready location.  It was equally adorable watching all the girls cuddling these wee things while doing their hair and makeup. 🙂 I wanted to cuddle them too! lol

Let’s talk wedding party! What a special group of people! All were so warm and helpful and just pure excited for Joseph and Haleigh.  I didn’t realize until wedding day that Joseph selected his father to be his best man. Wow! As a parent, I teared up. What a special honor to not only be called dad but to get to stand as best man as well…that is a neat honor.
