St. Rita’s Catholic Church | Visalia, CA

In the tail end of the 2020 pandemic, Joanna & Alexis were both new college graduates, focusing on beginning their respective adult lives. Joanna had recently moved back home to Visalia from university and Alexis was just starting his career. Their mutual friend, Shantel, was catching up with Joanna and realized she knew a perfect match for her. To this, Joanna replied, “I am too busy to meet your friend, sorry.” Shantel reached out to Alexis and mentioned a friend she thought would be perfect for him. To which Alexis replied, “I’ve got a lot going on, maybe another time.”

It went on like this for months. When finally they met at the beach. Joanna’s family kept asking her if this was her boyfriend and she replied that she had just met this man today!!! 😂 The rest of that summer, Shantel, and her now fiancé, Andres, invited these two to hang out every weekend. Joanna & Alexis eventually started going on solo dates and made their relationship official on November 5, 2021. Since then, they have traveled to many places together and fell deeper in love.

Shantel knew these two would make the perfect match and I think everyone is glad for Shantel!!! Joanna and Alexis’ Wedding Day was a beautiful May day!
