It all started with a phone call on August 2019 that connected a girl from California to a boy thousands of miles away in Missouri. It didn’t take many more conversations to realize that they were connecting on so many levels. Despite coming from different cultural backgrounds, they were astonished to see how many similarities they shared. Their Catholic Faith that both families shared and embodied became the strongest part of their relationship, which made them realize that God was writing their love story. Although they were thousands of miles apart and separated by two time zones, their love for each other endured and grew stronger each day through God’s grace.

On a hot, summer day in June these two became finally became husband and wife! In a special meaningful ceremony at St Mary’s Church performed by both Mayra & Avinash’s priests. Surrounded by the cutest nieces and nephews, sweet family and friends the joy was contagious! Evergreen Island was sooo kind on this warm evening providing misting fans for the guests and the kids took full advantage playing in the wetness. Beautiful live music from, Toast and Bells filled the misty air while people joyfully visited and ate yummy food. Oh and then the dancing began! What fun everyone had on the dance floor… wait until you see the fun! Mayra & Avinash many, many blessings to you both on your new adventures together.
